Mom's Chiffon Cake!

Last Saturday, my mom went to cooking lesson and made Chiffon cake. Well, I did not know that my mom starts to go to cooking lesson. She said some school has special lesson for cooking, and decides to go there. It was first lesson on last Sat. She said lesson is once a month, so it is easy for her to go to cooking lesson.

First cooking lesson; Chiffon Cake

She said it was fun to make Chiffon Cake. There is no butter to use. So it is healthy cake!!!

Her lesson is morning time, so I was waiting her cake for lunch.

The cake she made looked so good. Taste was....................GOOD!!!

OMG. It was delicious. It is light taste and not too sweet, but it is good taste.

My mom and I decide to make English Tea Flavor Chiffon cake next time together. Or... Chocolate? ...Well, I will think about it!!!

Anyway, my mom's cooking lesson for Chiffon cake was successful!!!

English Scone!

Do you like to eat English Scone with Jam and Cream? I love it!!!

When I went to England, I felt in love with Scone. I think ... I was 15 years old???

I still remember that there was small cafe in Cambridge. I went to the cafe everyday during my lunch break. There were Cherry scone, Cheese scone, and Plain scone... they were all delicious.

I do not know why but still remember the taste...

Actually, I stopped by London before going to Tokyo in begging of this year. At that time, I was craving to have scone, so went to cafe in London to eat scone!!!

I ordered Scone with Jam&Cream!!! It was delicious with English Tea!

You know what I should bake it by myself. Yeah, I should try it!!!

Oh, sorry. I was talking by myself...

Well, I will try to bake scone. Please look forward to see my blog about "Making Scone". Ahaha...

My Favorite PIE Restaurant.

Do you like Pie? It is Sweet Pie. I would like to introduce my favorite Pie restaurant in Japan.

It is called "Quil-Fait-Bon". If you enter the restaurant, there are many kinds of pies in the showcase. It will be really hard to decide which one you want to try to eat... because every pic looks so delicious.

Akashiyaki(明石焼）

Hi. I would like to share one of my favorite food. It is Akishiyaki. This is similar to Takoyaki(たこ焼き). Do you know Takoyaki? It is really famous food in Osaka, Japan. I like Takoyaki, but I really like Akashiyaki because of the broth and taste.

"Akashiyaki is a small round dumpling from the city of Akashi in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. Made of an egg-rich batter and octopus dipped into dashi (a thin fish broth) before eating, locals in the Akashi area refer to it simply as tamagoyaki."(Wikipedia)

I do not know why, but like Akashiyaki better than Yakoyaki...because I feel that Akishiyaki is light snack.

When I went to Kobe in Japan, I had great Akashiyaki there. I love it!!!

I recommend that you should try this food!!!

Cherry Blossoms...

Hi. Summer is coming soon..., but I should like to share some pictures which you can feel Spring. It was so cold temperature during Cherry Blossoms season... OMG, it was so cold. I was expected that I could see beautiful Cherry Blossoms...however, because the weather issues, it was too cold to go out to see Cherry Blossoms.

Fortunately, I could see very beautiful Cherry Blossoms just last week. I know that it is too late to see, but think that because of the weather, I had a chance to see beautiful blossoms.

It was PINK!!! I loved the color. My mom told me that some Cherry Blossoms were different, so it is still time to have flowers even though Cherry Blossoms.

It was really beautiful. I really enjoy to see the blossoms.

Snow!!! Part 2

Well, today' story is about next day in Hokkaido!!!

We stayed half day at Sapporo and moved to Otaru for half a day. Since 1st day in Hokkaido, it was still so freezing... but it was nice weather in the morning. Unfortunately, it was getting cold and snowing at Otaru...

First, we went to Sweet Factory, called Shiroi Koibito Park. It means that White Lover Park. They are making famous white chocolate cookies!!! I love it, and it is very sweet and delicious. When I went there, my image was movie, called "The Charle and the Chocolate Factory". it was smell Sweet and Chocolate inside of the factory. It was dream sweet park! You should try the cookie!!! We also tried Cream Puff. There is Cake shop inside of this park, so we decided to try it because it looked so GOOD.

Then, we moved to Otaru!!! It was more colder than Sapporo... We were freezing...

First, we were little hungry, so tried fresh scallops. They made grilled scallops with say source. It was great smell and taste.

Then, we went to Sushi restaurant because it is famous for seafood in Hokkaido. There are many Sushi restaurants in Otaru, so it was hard to decide which restaurant we should go...

We decided one place to go, and tried to eat there... our choice was Great!!! Sashimi bowl was so good taste. OMG! Seafood was all fresh!!! I want to go back there and try different seafood...

It was so yummy!!!

It was getting darker... There was light-up show at Otaru Unga(Canal). It was small version of Snow Festival in Sapporo. It was so pretty. Even though it was so freezing, we could stay there longer than we thought. Because of snow light-up, it made us calm and felt warm heart. I want to see snow light-up next year... it will be so cold, but it was really beautiful...

Did you enjoy my Hokkaido trip story? There are many places which I want to go in Hokkaido, but went to only Sapporo and Otaru in this time...

It is cold in winter, but I want to go back there later...maybe summer time?

Snow!!! Part 1

I know the title is not related to current season, but just want to share my story with you.

On February, after coming back to Japan, I went to Hokkaido (North part of Japan) with my friend who went to Community College together in U.S.

I have never been to Hokkaido in winter time...it was so cold which I was not expected...

It was snowing A LOT!!!. I was really surprised at the weather in Hokkaido.

You will be surprised at how much snow was there... even though we stayed one night, I felt that I saw enough snow only one day.

I will write about this trip part 1 and 2 because there are many pictures...

Beer I tasted was only served in Hokkaido. It was great taste. I love BEER.
