Rainbow Bread

Hello. It is long time no see...I am so sorry...

I know that I should update blog more often... Yes, I know. I am so sorry.

I could go to Cooking Lesson only one time in this month... OMG!!! I need to go!!!

Will take 2 lessons in this weekend for sure, and am planning to take 2 more class in Feb.

Have more stories I can update on my blog!!!.

Today, I would like to talk about cooking lesson in this month which I took.

I took Rainbow Bread Cooking class!!!

This is my first time to bake bread...

First, I thought it would be difficult, but actually it was easy!!!

There are 3 different tastes. First, red layer is tomato. Second, yellow layer is Pumpkin. Third, white layer is plain. It was really fun to make this bread. It took longer than I thought, but it was really great experience baking bread by myself!!!

I am also surprised at the taste of bread. It was so delicious!!!

It is little bit sweet, and can taste tomato and pumpkin. NO butter when you eat.

They already have taste!!! It was really delicious!!!

I will try to bake bread at home and eat fresh bread in the morning.

It will be really GOOD!!!

Christmas Dinner (from cooking school)

I am so sorry that I did not update any posting for a month...

I know I should update my story more often... So Sorry...

Anyway, did you have wonderful happy Christmas???

New Year is coming soon... Do you have any plan for New Year?

For me, I will spend time with my family for New Year!!! I will cook some Japanese New Year dishes for my family dinner. Will start cooking from Dec 31, and continue to Jan 1.

Oh, I need to tell you that I decide to go to cooking school. Went there already 3 times!!!

I learned 3 different dishes from school. It was really fun and enjoying to learn new recipes!!!

Today, I will tell you about Christmas Dinner dishes which I learned from school.

Ok........

First lesson I went to was Christmas Dinner dishes.

It is Christmas dinner plates. Yes, there is Chicken for sure.....but it is Japanese taste.

It was not like regular Christmas roasted Chicken. It was good, but thinking how I can describe about Japanese taste of roasted Chicken...

anyway, and also there is Toast with Pastrami, Corn soup, Potatoes Salad(look like Christmas Tree Style), and Leaf Pie with Strawberries and custard.

It was not too hard, and Leaf Pie was so good. But it was easy to make! Wow!!!

I took pics, but not really good quality, so it will be hard to see clearly...Sorry.

Sweet Potato Cake

Hello. Today, I decided to make Sweet Potato Cake. My mom went to shopping and found sweet potatoes. I was thinking that I wanted to cook something...something...

My mom and I was discussing what I should make to use Sweet Potatoes, and I decided to make the cake! It was very simple Sweet Potato Cake.

Ingredients;

Sweet Potatoes, Butter, Sugar, Milk, Vanilla Extra, Eggs

Just Bake 20 minutes

It was good, but I want to try to make it again.

I want to make Sweet Potato Cake in different way next time.

Anyway, will continue to cook every week...

What should I cook next week??? Oh, I have some ideas!!! I cannot tell you right now what I will plan to cook, but we will see next week on my blog!

Soup

Today, I decided to make soup because I got sick and needed to stay home even though I needed to work during weekend...

Anyway, so decided to make some warm soup!!! And, I was thinking what kinds of soup I should make... I was thinking and thinking... and finally decided to make Pumpkin Soup!!!

I could not go outside for shopping, so called my mom and ordered to buy Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, and fresh cream.

It is Pumpkin soup with Sweet Potato. Umm... It sounds good. Wait! Maybe it is Pumpkin and Sweet Potato soup. Anyway, you can decide the name, but it is soup!

I did not use any sugar but it was so sweet!!! I think it tastes good!!! However, I used fresh cream, and it was little heavy... I should use milk instead of using fresh cream...

Oh, I forgot to mention that also made Pumpkin chips.

I will try to make it again!!!

Hello!!! It will be cooking story!!!

Well, i did not cook for a long time because my mom's cooking is best for me!!! However, I realized that I should cook and learn more recipes from my mom. I know I should re-start to cook again!!!

So, I decided to cook some dishes on last sunday. I was thinking what I should cook...

Well, I cooked Pumpkin Salad as usual because my mom likes it and stew with tomatoes, eggplants, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, bacons, baked chickens and with some herbs...I think...

It was like tomato source with some vegetables, so it would be good with Pasta.

Well, it was fun to cook! I should cook again soon!!!

CupCake!!!

Today, I baked CupCake!!! You know I got CupCake mix from Amy&Ricky as my B-day gift. So........I decided to bake it!!!

I did not bake and cook for a long time now because of my mom! She is a best chef for me, so she always cooks for me. And, I cannot cook because I am busy for eating meals she cooks.

I know I should cook more........BUT my mom's cooking is BEST!!!

Anyway, I baked them with Halloween Cup! I went to shopping with my friend today, and found Halloween designed cup for cupcake. So, I decided to use them.

Oh, I also went to my favorite pie shop. It was so delicious!!! It was so YUMMY!!! You know what I am talking about!!! It is my favorite PIE Shop!!!

Oh, Sorry...back to CupCake story...

I baked them, but....... I am not sure the taste is similar to the real cupcake you can buy at the shop or not....... I hope CupCake taste is good... Just Hope so...

Anyway, I really enjoyed to bake CupCake! Thank you, Amy & Ricky!!!

Cooking with My Mom

Yesterday, after my mom and I made Chiffon Cake, we cooked dinner together. I did most of the part because she cooked for me all the time, so I decided to cook for dinner.

Well, I think I am kinds of lazy now because I do not cook anymore... you know why???

Because my mom's cooking is best for me...better than cooking by myself. So, I do not cook not too often anymore. If I eat meals which she cooks, I do not need to cook, but she needs some days not to cook. So I decide to cook for her sometimes...

Yesterday, I decided to help her for cooking dinner. She said that she wanted to make soup, so I made soup with Chicken and Tomatoes. I put Chicken Wings, cut Tomatoes, salt, pepper, and Consomme Bouillon. It was single taste, but it was good...I think.

I also cooked Daikon Tuna salad which you already you know. I posted this dish several time... have never cooked for her, so I decided to make Daikon Tuna Salad. Mom likes it, so it's good.

Also my mom cooked vinegared cucumber, crab meat, and seaweed dish. It is kind of hard to explain, but it is mixed up with vinegar, sugar, cut cucumber, crab meat, and seaweed. This is one of my favorite. It was so good. I need to learn from her how to make this.

I know myself that love to cook, but I need to eat dishes which my mom makes because all dishes are so delicious. I know that I should cook more and learn many dishes from her.

Look forward to cook with my mom in the weekend.

Chiffon Cake

Today, my mom and I made Chiffon Cake as I told you. We made English Tea Chiffon Cake!!!

I thought it is little difficult to make, but it was so easy!!! I was surprised at making Chiffon cake.

As you know, my mom learned recipe from her cooking school, so my mom and I decided to make it together. It was fun because I did not make cake with my mom for a long time...

I remember that when I was elementary school, my mom made the cake for my Birthday every year. It was soooooooo delicious. We sometimes made cakes or cookies together when I was child. So, it was really great time to make the cake together.

We will try to make it again with different flavor.

Thank you, mom. It was really fun time!!!

Tonkatsu and cheese

I cooked Tonkatsu at Amy and Ricky's house. Tonkatsu is deep-fried Pork Cutlet. I did not cook this dish for a long time, but I made it with Swiss Cheese.

I also cooked fried tofu with green onion dish, but I do not know name of dish........

Well, if you see pics, you will find out what I made. Ahaha. I have no idea how I should call...

My Cooking Day...

Hello. I have many story I want to post in my blog... but I was sooooo busy. Sorry.

Today, I want to talk about my cooking day story. You know now about me that I love COOKING.

One day, I felt like I WANT to Cook something... So for dinner time, I decided to cook FOOD.

There were Four dishes.

- Stew (White sauce Stew) including a lot of Vegetables. I made from scratch. It made me like nervous because I did not make Stew from scratch for a long time. Finally, I made it!!!

- Stir fried including mushrooms and pork meat.

- Pumpkin Simmering (Japanese Nimono)

- Green Salad

Cooking Day!

One night, I cooked dinner with a lot of vegetables. I feel sometime I am craving to eat many vegetables. Those dishes were like little bit Chinese style, but not too oily. I recommend to eat those dishes with rice. I used Pork in this time.... should cook with fish next week??? Do you have any recommendation for me? Please let me know!!! Thank you.

Cooking Day!

Hello!!! Recently, I am tired of eating outside, so today decided to cook myself! I love cooking, but did not have chance to cook because I do not like to eat by myself....... HOWEVER, today I feel that want to cook, so I cooked dinner!!! When reading book today at my lunch time, saw the picture of grilled Sword Fish, and it really looked good. So, I went to the market after finishing my work, and started to cook some dishes. Because I did not cook for a long time, my cooking levels were going to down... I decide to start cooking again to keep up my cooking levels. Today, I made Grilled Sword Fish with Salad, Japanese Style Egg Omelet, and Rice. What should I cook next time????? Do you have any suggestions??? Please let me know!!! Thank you!!!

Today's Dinner.

I went to Farmer's Market in this morning and to decide making the dinner with fresh vegetables from the market. First dish is Beet and Radish salad. Next dish is vegetable soup, and final dish is grilled chicken with Asparagus. I love going to Farmer's market!!!

Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

I went to Farmer's Market and cooked some of dishes with fresh vegetables from the market. Because all vegetable were fresh, I did not use too much things. It was just simple taste using salt and olive oil. Organic food made great taste itself. I really like to go back there and cook new dishes.

homemade sweet...

I made sweet today. I did not cook anything for a long time... need to start cooking again. Also, need to post my blog everyday...I will try. There are three type of cake. Taste was good. My roommate really liked it. I will try to make sweet things...  Love sweet sweet sweet desert.  

This is best strawberry jam !!! You need to try it!!!
