My Favorite Japanese Sake

First, I need to say...Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you have a great 4th of July!!!
Sorry the date on post is June 30 because I was started to write this story, but I am posting this story now, which is 4th of July. Sorry about this date issue.

Have you tried to drink Japanese sake? I think most of you have experience to drink Sake, but have you had experience to drink sake, which taste like white wine?

OMG!!! Last week, I finally opened the sake which I wanted to open for along time. I went to Sendai(which is North part of Japan) in last April of this year, and got special sake from special sake factory.

I could not open the sake because I wanted to have this sake with special people, like family. I finally got a chance to open because my best friends, Amy and Ricky were in Japan and came to my parent house for dinner. So, we had a big family dinner and decided to open it!!!

I was waiting to open the sake for a long time, and finally could taste it... :)

Taste was........................OMG................. best of the best!!! It was like white wine!!!

I love it so much. I could not stop drinking... my mom said she also loved it.
It is really smooth to drink and taste like high quality white wine!!!
It is called "extra". It is amazing taste. I just want to say "Love It!"for this sake.

I will try to get this sake hope in this year and if not next year...

Anyway, I definitely try to have this sake soon!!! because this is my favorite sake ever!!!

I want to celebrate 4th of July with this sake!!!

Rumi's B-day!

Today... yesterday(June 7)was my friend, Rumi's B-day!!! Happy Birthday, Rumi!!!

We decided to celebrate B-day eve together.

B-day Plan 1:Movie

She said she wants to watch Movie. Movie is of course Sex and the City2!!!
SAC is one of our favorite drama. Specially she used to live in NY City!!! I watch all episodes and movie 1, so we decided to go to watch SAC2 for her B-day!!!

I thought Movie 2 was better than first one... well that was my opinion...

B-day Plan 2:Dinner

I was not sure where I should go in Shinjuku Tokyo, so she said that she went to one of Vegetable restaurant near Shinjuku Station, so we went there. I thought it was quit interesting. Not too bad, not so good. But, you can eat a lot of vegetables!!! So, I like it.

Rumi, I will take you Pie shop in Gina, so we can celebrate one more time for your B-day!!!
I am so sorry to prepare for your B-day cake...So I decided to take her pie shop which I already posted this pie store before.

B-day Plan 3:Present

I found nice and cute party bag. I also fall in love with the bag, so decided to buy 2 bags. One is for Rumi. One is for me. I pick white one, and black one for me. I want to match the image with Sex and the City, so it is shiny and gorgeous. We decide to hang out together with both white and black bag, and go to party, like Sex and the City!

So, this is the story about Rumi's B-day eve plan!

I hope that she liked it. Hope...

I took some pics from the restaurant. What do you think about the food?

Taiyaki Store

Hi. I think that you are questioning what is Taiyaki... I know I will explain to you.

Taiyaki is food. Yes, you can eat. It is sweet food.

Here is explanation from Wikipedia;
Taiyaki (たい焼き , literally "baked sea bream"?) is a Japanese fish-shaped cake. The most common filling is red bean paste that is made from sweetened azuki beans. Other common fillings may be custard, chocolate, or cheese.

So, now you know what is Taiyaki, right?

Today, I would like to talk about Taiyaki store. Recently, I found out that my friend opened Taiyaki shop in Tokyo. I did not know that even though it opened 8 month ago...

I suddenly found out about the Taiyaki shop, so I found his shop's HP and went there last Sat.
OMG. I did not see him for a long time, so I am so happy to see him and to eat his Taiyaki.

When I went there, I realized that one of other friend also works there. Ahaha. It was so interesting. Because my friend told me that there are two workers which I know. And, when I went there, yes, there were two of my friends at the store. I did not see them for a long time, so it was really great time to see them.

For Taiyaki, there are many flavor, so it was hard to decide which one I should eat...
And, I chose one for eat-in and three more for to-go. It was delicious. It is hard to explain about texture... maybe... Mochi?Bread?... I am not sure...Sorry, but it is delicious.

So, I decide to go back there on the weekend again. I am looking forward to eating different flavor. Will try to explain to you about texture and flavor again...

Tomo san & Ryo, Thank you very much. I will be at your store soon!!!
